SUMMARY:First Day Hike
DESCRIPTION:The 7-mile round trip (moderately strenuous with two hills and sand walking) will include three restroom stops\, a visit to the seal rookery and viewing a newly discovered earthquake fault. \nWe will meet at Carpinteria State Beach Kiosk (Entrance Station) at 1:30 p.m. Please bring water\, sturdy shoes\, also sun protection and a camera if desired. Children must be able to walk for up to three hours. There are three restrooms along the way. Dogs on leash permitted. There will be free parking that day for hikers.
