Stevens Park is nestled in the San Roque canyon. The route we will take follows the San Roque creek which provides nice riparian habitat. The trail goes under the Foothill Blvd bridge where there can often be sightings of White-throated Swifts.

Out and Back – 5 miles (2.5 miles each way). Moderate incline for first 1.75 mile with an elevation gain of 1,000’ which is pretty shady and riparian, the remaining 0.75 miles to the road is steeper with an additional gain of 750’ and is more exposed.
