Urban Creeks Hike: San Antonio Creek Trail!

Friday, July 19, 2024 · 9:00 am – 11:30 am Activity website

About this activity

Join the Land Trust on Friday, July 19th, 2024, from 9 am to 11:30 am as we experience the wonders of nature by exploring the shaded woodland path on the San Antonio Creek Trail in Tucker’s Grove County Park, Goleta.

In our discovery walk, we will tune our senses to the natural world and explore answers to questions that nature evokes in us to help develop a greater sense of wonder of nature around us. We will pay special attention to plant life’s diversity and look for signs of wildlife.

This slow-paced 2 to 3 mile family-friendly walk is on fairly level terrain. Restrooms and water are available at the dedicated parking lot. The trail combines shaded and exposed, with minor elevation gains. There are a few creek crossings, so good hiking shoes are recommended. Please no dogs on this hike.
