Sierra Club Social Hike – Weekly on Friday Evenings

These hikes are on the front country trails behind Santa Barbara and Montecito. Dress appropriately with hiking boots, comfortable clothes and bring at least a liter of water in your backpack or fanny pack. Bring sunscreen and bug repellant when necessary. Bring a flashlight or headlamp for the night hikes.

The evening hike leaves at 6:15 PM sharp and we get back between 8:30 PM and nine. There are no dogs allowed for safety concerns. These hikes are approximately 4 miles, 2 miles up and 2 miles back and are appropriate for beginners in good health. We will carpool to the hike from the mission. If you decide to ride with someone please be kind enough to give the driver a dollar per person for their trouble and gas.
