Sierra Club Hike – Weekly on Saturdays

Chorro Grande Hike Details: Strenuous 10 mrt hike with 3200′ elev. gain/loss – experienced hikers only. The hike starts at 4000′ and climbs steadily for 5 miles to 7200′, ending up on the Pine Mountain Ridge near Reyes Campground. Wear hiking shoes/boot, bring lots of water, snack, lunch. There’s a good chance that there will be snow at the top, so bring a warm jacket, a hat, and gloves. The weather can vary greatly during the course of the hike, so check out the forecast and bring layers accordingly.
