Hike With Hart
About this activity
As part of Healthy People Healthy Trails Month, we have arranged a one-mile nature walk with Assemblymember Gregg Hart on the Olive Grove Trail in Solvang at 9 am on Saturday, April 6th.

We will have a guided tour of the historic Santa Inés Mission Mills complex after the walk. The host at the Mills will be Mike Imwalle, Associate Executive Director of Cultural Resources for the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, who manages the Mission Mills on behalf of California State Parks.
The beautiful 39 acres of land adjacent to Mission Santa Inés is part of the Mission Santa Inés National Historic Landmark District and includes historic grist and fulling mills and their reservoirs. The State of California purchased the complex from the Trust to create a new State Park. It will be the first to interpret the industrial dimension of the history of the California Missions; for more information about the Trust and the Mission Mills project, visit http://www.sbthp.org.
We will gather at 8:45 am near 460 Alamo Pintado Road. Parking is curbside. The event will take roughly two hours and require about a mile of easy walking.
