Hike with a Ranger – La Purisima Mission HSP

Start off your day with a relaxing family hike starting at the visitor center! This leisurely nature hike will take you along the historic grounds and up the hill to the upper loop before heading back. The hike lasts about an hour and is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature while learning about the park and its beautiful trail system.

Where: Meets outside the visitor center.
Time: 9:00 am to 10:00 am Saturday, April 19th
What to expect: Moderate family friendly hike with minor elevation gain.
Length of hike: About an hour in length (can go shorter or longer depending upon groups pace and interest). Hike participants can drop in and out at any time during the hike.
Hike details: A leisurely ranger-led hike for an opportunity to learn about the flora and fauna of the parks unique ecosystem.
Ages: Adults and children old enough to hike a mile, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Preparation: Bring water, and dress appropriately for conditions.
