Come join the Land Trust on a morning hike on one of the Gaviota Coast's beloved open spaces! Land Trust Treks are a series of free, guided public hikes and outdoor experiences to explore Santa Barbara County with your local Land Trust.

Join us for a Land Trust Treks on April 11th, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm on the amazing Baron Ranch! This 1083-acre ranch is home to a wide array of wildlife and plants and offers many miles of recreational trails on the beautiful Gaviota Coast.
Though the ranch offers many miles of trails, our total trip will cover 4 miles on terrain that is a mix of shaded and exposed. Parts of the terrain gain great elevation, so expect a climb! Parking is available at the entrance. No water is available, so please bring enough water. A porta-potty is available at the trailhead. Participants may be exposed to poison oak and ticks; please wear layers.
