First Day Hike – Carpinteria State Beach

Join our State Park interpreters for an End-of-the-Year Walk from the Carpinteria SB Visitor Center to the Harbor Seal Rookery on December 31 at 9:30 a.m. This easy walk will include a discussion on the natural and cultural history of Carpinteria SB.

Location: Meet our park interpretive staff in front of the Carpinteria State Beach Visitor Center at 9:30 AM.
Parking: Visitors can park in the Carpinteria State Beach Day Use parking area for $10. You may also park on Palm Avenue or Linden Avenue next to the park entrance for free.
Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes and bring a water bottle and jacket for chilly weather.
All ages welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
