Plant Carrots and Beans and harvest Strawberries with Tom Shepherd - a Local Farm Hero!
This will be a great opportunity to help us transform a damaged ecosystem in Elings Park into a regenerative humanitarian garden and native plant habitat restoration area.
An event RSVP is required!
What you’ll need:
Sturdy Shoes (with closed-toes)
Gloves (if you have some)
Layers
Hat
Reusable water bottle with your name on it
We’ll have:
Donuts
Coffee
Cold drinks
Salty snacks
Pizza party lunch from Rusty’s Pizza
Volunteers will meet for a garden tour, safety briefing, and coffee and doughnut session to adjust caffeine and sugar levels before we head out into the garden.

This project will involve moderate exercise, using rakes, shovels, hoes, wheelbarrows, and pitchforks. We will take breaks to stretch and take in the beautiful ocean views.
