Join us for a bilingual Trek on Saturday, April 22nd from 9:30 am to 12 pm at Oso Flaco Lake! Trek lead Carlo will lead an EXCITING tour of riparian ecosystems found throughout Oso Flaco Lake, emphasizing aquatic birds.

Participants will enjoy a nice 2-mile stroll down the boardwalk and bridges and even terrain found throughout the lake and will end at the beach where participants will have a chance to explore these fascinating dune ecosystems! 

Located just off scenic Highway 1 in southern San Luis Obispo County, Oso Flaco Lake is an 800 acre day use area in the southern portion of the Oceano Dunes SVRA and is part of the 22,000 acre Guadalupe Nipomo Dunes Complex. This land is designated for hiking, fishing, bird watching, nature study and other non-motorized uses.
