First Day Hike
About this activity
State Park Interpretive Specialist Leanne Roth will guide a hike to Rincon from the main entrance of Carpinteria State Beach and back on Sunday January 1st at 1:30pm. The walk will follow the bluffs trail on the way out and the beach on the way back.
The 7-mile round trip (moderately strenuous with two hills and sand walking) will include three restroom stops, a visit to the seal rookery, and viewing a newly discovered earthquake fault.
